Do you like culture from Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Denmark? DJ-Icon Annie from Bergen? Finnish tango dance theater? Or do you like revolutionary art in public settings fresh out of the Nordic Art Academies? From April 21st to May 7th, the second NORD Kulturforum will be taking place in Berlin and offers a versatile and modern program of cultural events with just under 100 entries. The underlying theme of this year’s Kulturforum is “Urban Reflexion”, which reflects and contemplates the conditions and perspectives in big cities. What unites Berlin and Stockholm or Oslo? What opportunities offer multicultural experiences from Copenhagen and Helsinki? What is driving the young art scene in the small city of Reykjavik and in the big city of Berlin? How does the future look for the city and its people? The NORD Kulturforum 2006 will begin on April 21st at 6pm with the opening of the art exhibition “Hard Revolution” in the passage way at Potsdamer Platz. Welcome! Herzlich Willkommen! Hjärtligt Välkomna!
